The Curious Minds Card Fan is a visual and tactile resource that encourages research and review. There are a variety of ways that you can use this resource that all are based on the foundation of researching each person and summarizing important details about them.
These large card formats have the name and photo of each person + the flag of their country.
On the card students will be asked to research and fill out the following:
✨ Country they were born in
✨ Field of Science
✨ Their contributions to science
✨ Resistance they faced (on the back)
Included in the resource are several ideas on how to use the cards with your students. We highly recommend you pair this with the full comprehensive and fascinating unit study - Curiosity & Courage - A Journey through the History of Western Science. All the people featured in the unit are represented on these cards.
