12 Hyggelit Activities for the Snow!

Hygge is a wonderful practice that can help us truly appreciate the beauty and fun of winter. In this activity pack you’ll find 12 different hyggelit activities to partake in. Most of them are outdoors but there are a few lessons sprinkled in like hygge memory prompt writing, winter activity inventory, opinion writing and an artist spotlight.
The activities you’ll find in the pack will give you inspiration for embracing hygge outdoors in the cold and invite you to take advantage of dark, long winter nights (anyone up for a Twinkle Hike?)
This pack pairs exceptionally well with our Hygge Deep Dive and Wellness Practices of Nordic Countries unit studies.

My kids (9, 12,14) and I did this unit alongside the “Wellness Practices of Nordic Countries” unit and they were the perfect way to get through a cold and snowy Canadian January. We touched on bits and pieces from each every morning and it was a delightful start to the day and provided so much inspiration for afternoon/evening activities. Making “Snolykta” is 100% now a part of our winter activity bucket list. My kids were out in the snow every evening making one.
