Let’s be real - fostering healthy friendships is a universal and lifelong need. I’m sure we all know adults who do not possess the skillsets needed to navigate these relationships. These skills are also put to use in romantic and family relationships as well. Our kids need us to guide them in these areas of life! We used the "Art of Connection" as a book club style discussion group for the teen wranglers helping run horse day camps for kids in the summer. It was so good! We wanted it to help encourage healthy relationships among the teens while decreasing competitiveness among them as well. It helped the teens bond, work as a unit, and be encouraging to one another. The teens did the book work on their own followed by group discussion in the morning meeting before camp started. I highly recommend it.
We love all of the WHC products we have tried. This is a favorite of my 12 and 14yr old kiddos. It covers the many aspects of friendships in accessible and engaging ways.
