This 60 page Intro to Neuroscience provides a solid foundation for investigating the brain and the nervous system. It is a unique balance of boiled down information, activities and investigative labs that will engage your students and help them understand (and be amazed) by the functions of the brain and nervous system.

Obviously this is a MASSIVE field of study and the content is never ending. I've done my best to compile a manageable amount to work through while keeping it hands on and interactive.

You know your child best in terms of when this unit would be appropriate. I designed it with middle years and older in mind.

      So. Much. Fun!

Myself and my two teens had so much fun with this unit. While there is an abundance of information, what makes this unit really stand out are the many hands on activities. They were all so simple but incredibly powerful! They really had the kids totally involved and making connections, which made all the concepts really stick. This isn't your everyday science unit. Hands down the best fun we've had with science so far!
